Features
Everything a jeweller checks, measured automatically
Culet Studio combines a CAD inspector, a jewellery render engine and a sharing tool — all in the browser.
Inspection
A bench check, before the bench
Every upload is measured the way a CAD technician would — then cross-checked so problems surface before casting, not after.
- Ring size & band
- Bore circle fit gives inner diameter, US / UK / ISO / India sizes, band width and thickness at 6 o'clock and the shoulders, comfort-fit and head height.
- Metal weight per alloy
- True solid volume, then weight for yellow, white and rose gold, platinum, palladium and silver using published alloy densities.
- Every stone measured
- Shape, length × width × depth, estimated carat, table and depth percentages, crown and pavilion angles for rounds — compared with GIA ranges.
- Layout understood
- Centre, halo, hidden halo, side stones and shank pavé are recognised from how the stones are arranged, not from what the layers are called.
- Casting checks
- Watertight solid, loose fragments, 0.5 mm minimum thickness, culet clearance, stones through the bore, girdle gaps and sizing area.
- Production layers handled
- Hidden MatrixGold layers, sprues, tie bars and text are separated from the piece so weight reflects what will actually be cast.
Rendering
Photoreal in the browser
A jewellery-specific render pipeline — ray-traced diamonds, progressive anti-aliasing, reflections and soft shadows — running on the customer's own device.
- Six metals, real purities
- 14K / 18K / 22K yellow, white and rose gold, Platinum 950, Palladium 950 and Sterling 925 — colours calibrated against retail product photography.
- Stone colour per group
- Set the centre, halo, side stones and shank independently: diamond plus eleven coloured stones.
- Diamond looks
- Crisp (catalogue style), Brilliant or Soft — tuned so stones read like professional product shots without glare.
- Studio controls
- Three metal reflection styles, grey / white / black backgrounds, standing or lying positions and Front, Side, Top and Stone views.
Files
Opens what your team already makes
Including MatrixGold files saved without render meshes — Culet Studio tessellates the NURBS surfaces itself, to within 0.2 % of MatrixGold's own volume.
- Fast on big files
- Processing runs in background workers on every CPU core — a 60 MB, 1.2 M-triangle order opens in about 25 seconds while the page stays responsive.
- Private by design
- Files are read and measured in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share a live embed.
See every detail before it's cast.
